  • When will my area switch? Areas are being switched in two stages you will need to retune your freeview box on each occasion. The digital changeover will affect all households that receive digital tv through an aerial.

  • The countdown timers show the dates when the Digital Switchover will have been fully implemented - areas are being switched over in two stages, with several weeks between the two. Both dates are shown (where known) for each region.

  • Some of the dates for the digital switchover are provisional (TBA), so we will keep you updated as and when the information becomes confirmed. Additional information is provided where dates are definite.

  • New Dates. We now have the completion dates of the following transmitters in the STV Central Scotland: Black Hill, Craigkelly, Darvel, Roseneath and Torosay. Also Sandy Heath in the Anglia TV region and Nottingham, The Wrekin, Lark Stoke, Bromsgrove and Ridge Hill in the Central TV region
