Top up TV Anytime
The Top up TV Anytime digital box has the additional feature of adding extra channels in addition to the 70+ freeview channels. You pay a monthly or yearly subscription for additional content from several different channels. There is no contract as it is purely on a month to month basis.

How it works is that the additional content is downloaded to your set-top box via your aerial.

You have to purchase a dedicated box that will receive all the Freeview channels and in addition it receives the Top-Up TV content.

There is no card slot, like in the past and the content is downloaded to your box via your aerial, generally overnight.

These also have either one or two SCART connectors on the back and the relative cables and remote control.

Topup TV hardware (digital box) contains a large Hard Disk which allows you to record your favourite programmes. As a result your are also able to "pause, record and rewind live TV"

The Freeview channels are obviously free and you buy packages that suit your needs.

There are basically three packages: TV Favourites (£11.99 a month), Picture Box Films (£7 a month), ESPN Sports (£9.99 per month)
